How disruptive is it to switch IT providers?

How long does the full transition take?

Two to four weeks for small environments, four to eight weeks for mid-size businesses or regulated industries. The largest variable is how responsive your outgoing provider is to credential and documentation handoff requests.

What if our current provider refuses to cooperate?

We have handled dozens of contested transitions. We document every request in writing, rebuild credentials and access through vendor root resets, and — when necessary — escalate through the appropriate legal or contract-dispute channels to recover your assets.

Do we have to sign a long-term contract?

Most managed services agreements are 12 months, but we have clients on 90-day and month-to-month terms. The contract you sign is transparent, plain-language, and covers exactly what is in and out of scope.

Will we lose data during the switch?

No. We do not migrate data unless you ask us to. Your Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, file servers, and line-of-business systems remain in place. We simply take over management of those systems.
